    UTECH 2014

    The Long Haul to China

With this year being the Chinese year of the Horse I entered the dragon and galloped off to Shanghai to UTECH China 2014. After a hearty breakfast at Manchester Airport and the customary Duty Free shopping I boarded Emirates flight EK 0018 to Pudong International Airport. 5682 miles and a shattering 16 hours later I arrived in a rather overcast Shanghai and booked into the Shanghai Hilton HHonors Suite.

This wasn’t a trip purely for pleasure but to reinforce Anglo China relations and meet all Jiahua Chemicals key staff. It was also an opportunity to see how accurately BZ’s design and marketing concepts were translated into 3 dimensions.

With a population of 14.35 million and one of the most breathtaking skylines in the world, Shanghai is an intense bustling city as was Jiahua’s stand on my arrival. In fact it was one of the busiest stands at the show, with a constant stream of visitors and back to back meetings all day long. BZ’s concepts were interpreted perfectly by the construction company and Jiahua’s stand really stood out from the competition and with clear strong messages. It proved to be the best show to date for Jiahua with a multitude of orders and leads generated.

From BZ’s perspective the show was equally a success. Not only was the relationship between the two companies firmly cemented, but as BZ moves ever further into the world’s urethanes and chemical markets there were some great introductions and a fantastic opportunity for BZ to open offices in Shanghai which made the 11364 mile round trip well worth it.

    What an amazing project!

BZ are delighted to have worked on the marketing for the beautiful Mark 2 by Callum.

Leading Jaguar Car restorers Classic Motor Cars re-engineered this unique Jaguar Mark 2, re-designed by Ian Callum, Director of Design at Jaguar Cars. An intuitive driving experience, the Mark 2 by Callum has been completely uprated featuring the best of today’s technology to produce the ultimate Jaguar Mark 2.

Thoughtfully chosen photographic locations, combined with imaginative design and photography were carefully blended by BZ to create an inspiring, informative brochure worthy of this incredible motor car.

The photo shoots taken around Shropshire, attracted quite a bit of public attention, especially Ludlow and RAF Cosford and who can blame them with this stunning car making an entrance. Lorton Hill Climb was an exciting shoot too capturing the very essence of this beautiful car in action. Charlie McGee, photographer cum stuntman, got some amazing shots whilst strapped in the boot of a car travelling in front of the Mark 2 by Callum.

A gem of a location, Birchfield Garage in Much Wenlock provided the nostalgic backdrop befitting of the Mark 2 as did the Severn Valley Railway (Worcestershire) shot featuring a wonderful steam train reminiscent of yesteryear.
